The foundation of Grit is built on meals with lean proteins, veggies, fruits, complex carbs, and healthy fats. Most of the components in your meals will come from nutrient-dense whole foods. Here's a list of additional products we like to add to meals to help us reach our macro goals.
Outside of lean cuts of meat, poultry, and fish, here are some proteins I’ll add to my meals.
Fruit or sliced peppers are my #1 go-to snacks. However, there's a few higher volume and lower calorie snacks that will hit that "crunchy" craving without blowing out your macros for the day.
